Alkaline & Acidic Foods
We have compiled lists of the alkaline foods and acidic foods we here at Alkaline Foods Online like to eat. As the list of alkaline and acidic foods is extensive, these lists and charts are by no means inclusive of everything available.
Also, keep in mind that some foods we list as alkaline may be neutral and we classify them in the alkaline group because they are not acidic (i.e. chicken, goat milk cottage cheese, etc..) and in the case of chicken, if you eat meat, your body needs proteins and healthy, organic chicken is the better alternative to the highly acidic beef & pork products.
Additionally, your goal should be to include a diet balance of 80% alkaline forming foods and 20% acidic forming.
Eventually we plan on expanding on these lists to include as many alkaline and acidic foods as possible.
